Your everyday microneedling machines on the market work on vibration mechanism that have 12 needles 0.35mm short step puncturing tiny holes into the skin so rich plasma can be applied topically to absorb into the skin or many inject it into the skin.

 Our microneedling machine was designed as a hammering mechanism (up and down action) with 0.20mm needle attached to a tube full with serum.  The U shaped cap at top of needle allows the serum to go deeper into the skin, making the skin more plumper. The rich plasma is being delivered into the skin instead of being absorbed like normal microneedling.   The easiest way to describe this treatment is as follows. Blood is extracted from the patient and is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red blood cells, and create an incredibly rich plasma. This is injected back into the skin, working with the body's natural response contracting and producing a new layer of collagen and has been scientifically proven to work 100% on all skin tones. The treatment has been used in cosmetic applications for years.   Scientifically proven to work better than laser. 

 What are Platelets?  Human blood is comprised of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The platelets are small, disk-shaped cell fragments in the plasma portion of the blood that work to facilitate clotting and tissue regeneration. They are known to secrete fundamental growth factors that initiate cell regrowth. 

 How is Platelet Rich Plasma made?  A sample of the patient’s blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cell portion from the platelets and plasma components.  Your blood is made up of 93% Red Blood Cells 6% White Blood Cells and 1% Platelets. The separated “solid” portion of the blood, or platelet rich plasma, contains approximately five to seven times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood along with concentrated bioactive proteins that aid in wound healing. 

What is a Vampire Facelift?  A Vampire Facelift is a term that has become popular, and it describes what we’re doing when we use PRP for facial cosmetic improvement. The reason the term has become popular is because we take a blood sample, and then inject the blood back into the face (even though we remove the red cells which would cause excessive bruising). Blood contains PRP and we inject the PRP into the face, rather than the whole of the blood.

 What Can Be Treated With A PRP Facial?  The PRP Facial is effective for treating problems that result from a loss of volume in your skin, such as frown lines, wrinkles around your eyes, smile lines and nasolabial folds that extend from your nose to the corners of your mouth. How soon will I see results after a PRP anti-aging treatment?  PRP Therapy will improve general texture and tone to any area the platelet and growth factor rich blood is injected. For cosmetic application it is usually recommended to have a minimum of three treatments, one month apart. It is always best to wait a minimum of three months after the third treatment session before making a judgment on the results. Some patients will achieve further changes for three to six months after their final treatment. 

 Normally the rich plasma is injected into the areas of the face, neck, and hands that have need to be worked on. We believe that this is not the best way to receive the best results because it isolates only a small area that you are receiving the rich plasma. We use our patent machine that has an external tube holding the rich plasma, which has a tube attached to the needle. We can control how much serum comes out and can introduce more serum to areas of the skin that needs more.  Serum is delivered at time of puncher allowing every area of your skin to receive the necessary amount of plasma to help rejuvenate your skin. Our machine delivers 40,000 punchers within 10 minutes. The results are absolutely amazing in a short amount of time. Wrinkles disappear within 20 minutes.

 You will come in for a consult and sit with the technician and our Nurse PA that will draw your blood.  Than the blood is spun in a centrifuge to separated the platelets from the red blood cells. The technician will than start the procedure using our patented machine to go over your entire face, neck, hands or areas that need attention. We can control how much plasma will be injected and can use more  in the areas needing more attention. You will benefit even in areas that you can't yet see. 

After PRP Advanced Microneedling is finished. We than apply your own red blood cells on top of what was microneedled to absorb for 10 minutes. You will start to feel everything tightening. 

Technician will than wipe off the blood and apply our special serum topically to benefit even more.

During the procedure you will have a small amount of pain but less painful than tradition normal microneedling. Some areas around the face including forehead, nose, and upper lip will be more painful due to the thinness of skin. We do not use a numbing agent because we have found that the results are better without.

After the procedure it is normal to have redness in the areas that we have microneedled. Redness and very little if any swelling will subside in just a few days.Skin normally does not peal but if it does peal do not pull skin off, let your body naturally do it for you. Keep out of the sun until your skin is completely healed. 

Before Procedure

SUPPLEMENTS: Discontinue blood thinning agents such as vitamin E, vitamin A, Ginko, Garlic, Flax, Cod Liver Oil, Essential Fatty Acids and least one week before your treatment. Please stop multivitamins one week before your procedure as well. It’s fine to continue iron and vitamin D.

ALCOHOL & SMOKING: Avoid alcohol for three days before your PRP session If possible, stop smoking or limit smoking for three days prior to your procedure. The longer you refrain, the better as we find it really impacts on the healing process!

Please increase your intake of fluid the day before your procedure by simply drinking 2 glasses of water in the morning before your PRP session, 2 glasses at lunch and 2 glasses at dinner. On the actual day of your procedure simply have a bottle of water (500 mL) before your session.  It’s best to be well hydrated prior to having blood drawn and it will also keep your plasma at a thinner consistency. Please eat a normal breakfast or lunch the day of your PRP session.

MEDICATIONS: Avoid aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Iburprofen, Naproxen, Voltaren and other anti inflammatory medications for 3 days before your procedure (if possible please avoid for 7 days). We want inflammation to occur – as this is one mechanism by which PRP works! You may take Tylenol for any pains, discomforts or joint pains you may have.

Aftercare

1. Do not wash your face for 4 hours after treatment.

2. Wash face with normal soap and water before bed. Apply serum to keep your skin moist. Make sure you have clean sheets before going to bed. Maintain clean skin surface practice.

3. If you can do not wear makeup for 72hrs, if you must put as little as possible on since your skin pours are open and you do not want to risk a reaction from the makeup.

4. Next Day You can clean your face with a gentle cleanser or use a medical grade cosmetic line. Stay away from exfoliates or glycolic acids that are present in cleansers as they can make your skin very dry after procedure. Apply recommended Apple Stem Cell and CBD Cream in the morning and before bed. If you use any other product make sure it does not have any alcohol or retinol  in the product . The goal is to keep your skin moisturized. 

5. Days 2-7 – Within two (2) days following your microneedling procedure, you will notice skin dryness or flaking. This is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. During this period, you may apply your regular skin moisturizer or the recommended Apple Stem Cell CBD Cream. Days later your skin may start shedding. These are skin layers layers that would regularly shed a week later, but microneedling brings this skin to the surface sooner.

6. Keep out of the direct sun, you can use sun block after 72hrs. Be sure to use an approved SPF30 or greater sunscreen.
